2019年4月中旬，接北京市政工程总公司和北京自来水公司的东城区自来水管网改造的管道切割工程需求后，天津市先锋管道工程机械有限公司立即组织人员去现场进行勘测和进行自来水管道切割的实施方案的确认。管道切割的地点位于北京天安门以东1.1公里的东长安街，金水河向北0.2公里处，管道材质为钢管，DN400，作业坑深度3.3米，管道表面有锈蚀现象。由于地处位置比较特殊和过往的行人繁杂，白天交通压力较大，同时考虑了应当错过企事业单位和居民的用水高峰，此次管道切割方案时间定为夜间10点以后进行。

Due to the tight time and heavy tasks, Tianjin Xianfeng pipeline technicians and the engineering demanders jointly determined the scheme that the self-climbing hydraulic pipe cutting machine (pipe climbing machine) can be used together and started at the same time. The pipeline cutting scheme and emergency management scheme formulated by Tianjin Xianfeng Pipeline have been affirmed by the engineering demander and implemented after approval.
2019年4月25日晚10时，管道切割工程按照工程方案和人员安排计划按时实施。由于准备充分，两台自爬式液压切管机在两台泵站的带动下，仅用17分钟就圆满完成了切割自来水管的任务，为后续的管道工程工作赢得了宝贵的时间，赢得了工程需求方的好评和感谢。
