控制电缆的绝缘线芯颜色一般为黑白，电力电缆的低压一般为分色。控制电缆的截面一般小于10平方米，电力电缆主要用来输电，一般都是大截面。

控制电缆的安装和接线注意事项:
1.屋檐下。标准LAN电缆只有在不直接暴露在阳光下或超高温下才能使用。建议使用管道。紫外线(UV) -不要在阳光直射下使用没有紫外线防护的电缆；
2.在外墙上。避免阳光直射墙面和人为损坏。发热——金属管道或线槽内的电缆温度很高，很多高分子材料在此温度下会降低使用寿命；
3.在管道中(塑料或金属)。如果在管道中，注意塑料管道的损坏和金属管道的热传导。机械损伤(修复费用)——光缆的修复非常昂贵，每个不连续点至少需要端接两次；
4.悬挂应用/架空电缆。考虑电缆垂度和压力。电缆是否被阳光直射；
